KARAK: The central joint secretary of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Rehmat Salam Khattak has alleged that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was utilizing the oil and gas royalty funds of district Karak in his native district Nowshera and added that the incumbent government of PTI failed to bring any change in the province.
He was addressing to a public meeting in Totaki area of district Karak and on the occasion village nazim and a number of other families formally joined PML while tendering resignations from other political parties.
He recalled that PTI Chief Imran Khan had promised that his government would increase the Karak oil and gas royalty up to 30 percent but they miserably failed to make increase one percent in it rather they shifted the funds of district Karak to Nowshera which was sheer injustice with the poor people of district Karak.
Mr Khattak claimed that Prime Minister Shahid Haqan Abbasi would visit the district very soon to inaugurate Rs 7 billion gas supply to the nook and corner of the district and added that they have completed home work for the proposed visit of PM to district Karak.
He added that the gas related issues of the people of the district would settle once for all and claimed that the Indus Highway widening project would also be inaugurated during his visit. Mr Khattak said that work on Sabirabad and Siraj Baba power
grad stations have already been launched and they were in completion stages and likewise Sabirabad and Latamber power feeders have been completed.
The ruling party office bearer claimed that the federal government has completed billions of rupees’ developmental projects in the district which could be compared with the provincial government of PTI who had deceived the youngsters in the name of change.
He added that the workers of PTI were badly exploited by the party leadership through false and hollow slogans and now they have realized the fact and joining other political parties.
He welcomed the new entrants into the party and assured them that they would have no remorse on their decisions.
